Chief Flying Instructor                         Richard Billins

Richard has in excess of 9000 flying hours, of which over 6000 have been as captain on passenger operations, and holds an Airline Transport Pilots License.

He has flown small commuter aircraft such as the Embraer Bandeirante, Jetstream 31, DeHavilland Twin Otter, and also the 70 seat ATR 72, up to the Boeing 737.   His last commercial position was as a Captain on the Bae 146, four engined 'whisper jet', flying scheduled services for Lufthansa.

Richard is also a Civil Aviation Authority instructor and examiner on single and multi-engine aircraft.
